Privacy policy

VideoVision (“we”) keeps as little about you as the product needs. This page says what that is.
When you buy
Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, handles the payment and your billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address, Paddle's customer and transaction numbers and the amount of the purchase. We never see your card.
When you use the kit
- Licence: your licence key (stored only as a one-way hash, plus an encrypted copy so we can give it to you again), and for the computer it is activated on: a one-way code made from its hardware ID (never the ID itself), its name, its operating system, the kit version and when it last checked in.
- Method: the kit asks our server for its chapters; those requests carry the licence token, nothing about your videos.
- Your videos, scripts and keys stay on your computer. Your voice key is stored encrypted on your computer and is sent only to the voice service you chose. Your AI app and your voice service process what you send them under their own privacy policies.
What we use it for
To deliver your licence, keep it working on your computer, stop shared or refunded keys, answer your messages and send you your key by email. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
For as long as your licence exists, and afterwards as long as tax and accounting law requires for the purchase record.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by replying to your purchase receipt. Deleting it also ends the licence.
